Home alone

Soooo…

Do you guys feel a little scared when you're home alone?
I know I do! I turn on the tv, play music, turn on all of the lights just to feel.. Safe I guess?

The following poem was written by me
Not when I was home alone, but I was the only one who was awake. I'm a scaredycat though!
I'm afraid of the dark!

Darkness

Squinting my eyes, trying to see in the dark.

What’s out there? Is it dangerous?

Is it a monster, a ghost?

I’m squinting my eyes again.

I can’t see a thing.

But, did I just hear something?

Was it my imagination?

It might be a burglar.

Should I investigate?

Should I run and hide?

What if it will attack me?

With my eyes squinted, trying to see.

I walk to my light.

Frightened I turn on the light.

Squinting my eyes against the light.

Scanning my room for unusualities.

My room is empty.

Well, the new Supernatural comes out November 11th. But no, not right now.

Wanna know why? Exams and portfolios.
But as soon as the clock hits 2.40pm on the 11th (still November)

I AM FREE

And I will watch everything I want to, sing every song I want to, dance to all kinds of music and have fun until the next week of school begins.

I feel like such a rebel.

Well, that's all for this random post, now I'll work on the presentation I'll be giving tomorrow.

My name is Yessica, at the moment I am 21 years old (born in 1993, yeah!). I live in the Netherlands. I'm studying to become an English teacher and I just started living on my own-ish (withmyboyfriend).

I enjoy lots of stuff and I hope to post a lot of them here. You'll probably meet my boyfriend and my friends along the way and I hope I don't bore you to death, ghehehe ;D
